actually I never asked to do anything with you again after I heard Reception. My equipment and production skills aren’t that good. Neither are my arrangements. I couldn’t collaborate either. On their own, you would be able to hear the room I’m in, the 10 year old drum heads with no bottom on the toms. You’d hear the broken lug in the snare drum with a screw bouncing around. And you’d hear tape hiss, and my microphones are mis-matched. I have one condenser mic for overhead but I use a 10 dollar dynamic for the right side.
I need to get better at drum EQ ing too
Help me out, what needs to be improved in my drum sound?

Oh yea HA! and the only cymbal that I have that is intact is my 20 inch Ride and the bottom hi hat which I use on top. Everything else is ripped to shreds. I even use factory reject drum sticks. Is rock an roll not the peoples music?? Is folk and punk and hip hop really where I belong? The TRUE culture of the people?

I’ll put something together and give it a try to see if u can do anything with it. why don’t you suggest a song for me to work out.  I can’t decide. Only matt song Iver ever put to tape was Raking Service and it was a spot on rip off of the Main Output version. I did it because I lost the MP3 and wanted to hear the song the way I loved it.

Now you’re talking. I’ve got an idea, but I’ll message you off the board. It will return here, a full Pillage. No more half measures.

Fran.  By letting on that you are enjoying this talk, you will now be subjected to Spike demanding that you produce a pillage.

I’ve thought about it.

Maybe when I get my gear set up.

Is it true that Pillaging Matt is doing a black vinyl record…...the thought is overwhelming in its awesomeness!
