Believe me, I’m doing everything necessary to make it happen. I’ll be at Philly for sure, but three little kids make the overnights a little challenging. Quietly confident, though. I just need to maintain this subservient role for about two more weeks and I should be let free.
It’s certainly understandable how getting away for two nights almost in a row would be difficult to do….I have always found that bargaining is a good way to make sure you get what you need….
I actually have a crazy week that week. I teach music at a college in Jersey, and will be hosting a lecturer on the night of the 10th, then we have a concert on the 11th, TTH on the 12th, then I either have to see Henry Rollins’ spoken work in NYC the next day or take a night off and see him in Westchester County on Sunday. It’s going to be nuts!
I’m still trying to figure out if I’m making the trip to Minne to use my Wilson bros. tickets later in March. Hoping a friend can go, not sure I want to go it alone. Would love to check out Minneapolis!
This date is sneaking up already….I had this sinking feeling that the show would be cancelled as well…it seems a little unbelievable to fly out here for only 1 show….but apparently it is still on…so yippee!!!
I hope they include Troublemaker in their set list….It’s supposed to be rainy, but we’ll be all cozy in Union Hall….its nice to know where you’re going as opposed to not knowing…..
..God, that was great….I’m so tired because I’m always so excited about the show and it’s hard to sleep afterwards and then getting up at 7am to drive back to Philly and Lancaster in a monsoon…I’m just wiped out…..what a fix…..and a terrific rock and roll whirlwind….!
I love the new Troublemaker….it sounds much better than I even imagined…..and I love Call Me…what a great song…..I have to come back later for a full report because I’m so jazzed on caffeine right now….I’m still in a blur…...it’s a good day to sit by the fire and watch the second season of Lost…I’m so glad I don’t have a 2 -year old!
...oh, but I will say that Jaques was so “on fire” that he burned his amp out after only one or two songs!!!!....what a spectacle!!!!
