I have a very reliable source who told me to save that date. I asked him why, and he said it may be Trippy. Take that for what it is. But the source is VERY reliable.

So, when can we expect to hear more about this, Boogie Man?  I listened to Lulu all the way through last night—couldn’t resist with all the talk about the record on the board recently.  Now I’m all jumpy with anticipation.  Throw us a bone.

....I know…I check flight prices which are unappealing to say the least….I may be a bit “premature” on this…I’m sure I can’t make anything…unless it’s a Dan/John/ Matt Trio…..then they would have to fly me out so I can see WYBF…!

It will be the Lulu show….they’ll do various tunes from the other records and finish with the complete Lulu….it’ll be like a 4-hour show with an hour intermission/cocktail party….

Haha! I DID! Here’s a summary of my knowledge: A good friend and Trip fanatic is somewhat connected to members of, shall we say, the Wilson/Munson inner circle. This friend told me what I told you all… namely, that there might be something happening October 8, but that was all he really knows for now. I asked for more information and all he said was that it may be Trippy. Not Twilighty or Standardy, but Trippy.

Of course, a reunion, perhaps even including Elaine, was the first thing that came to my mind. The idea itself was so exciting that I had to share. The downside, of course, is that if my hopes are crushed, now all of yours will be too. BUT… if something does transpire… well, then we got to enjoy all this nice anticipation as well as whatever the ultimate payoff might be. Cross fingers, I guess.

I can also see where both TTH and DW (and maybe TNS) might have new material ready to release about that time.

That’s a good point, Doc. Perhaps it’s an album release date?

And, did they by chance sit in the 2nd row at the Wilson show and drink a lot?
