Ha!!!!! Hope to see you in the NFC Championship game!

There is a Steeler fan in the family who is salivating over taking out Favre when they meet the Steelers this season….

p.s.
I think my Vick trumps your Favre…...smile

As a Viking fan living and working in Wisconsin, my life just became so deliciously entertaining. Had those PJ’s too, then bought some for my kid. One of my fondest memories of him on his 3rd birthday, in the Vikings footy pajamas, jumping up and down in delight watching his Hot Wheels car do the loop-de-loop and jump on orange track. Sublime legacy.

Spike, you will have a fun year egging those Green Bay Fans….maybe…!

I like your white pony! Looks a bit down-trodden…

Those orange tracks made perfect whips…maybe too perfect if I remember correctly…

I’m a very casual football fan, but #4 sure had a heck of a coming out party at the Metrodome.  The guy plays it straight for almost 3 complete games, and then the gunslinger rears his head for another last second victory.  For that to happen in his first home game—wow—the ownership must be liking this investment.  Wins aside, I suspect any unsold tickets just got sold.

Hey….the Twins are making a run for it…I’d like to see them take down Detroit…

Oh, and I finally watched that Gordon Lightfoot video on YouTube….I knew I had to mentally prepare before watching it because it is truly devastating….and I felt prepared this morning to watch it….wow…

..Wow…this is a fun race to watch from afar without any of the typical sport anxiety that accompanies such close contests…can you imagine a tie-breaker game…how nerve-wracking is that?

..That Twins/Tigers game was perhaps the best game I’ve ever watched where I wasn’t emotionally attached to the outcome….I would’ve been so stressed out if that was a Phillies/Mets game…holy mackerel….that’s very exciting, indeed….the older I get the more I enjoy sporting events of all kinds….

I’m just wondering why the World Champion Phillies are playing their game today at 2:30pm when everyone is working rather than in primetime…that is some disrespect if you ask me…I’m so tired of the Yankees/Redsox lovefest…so I’m hoping the Twins cream them….!

Roller coaster to watch, razor thin edge between victory and collapse so many times over those last four innings, almost too much to watch. First the Packer smack down, then the Twins culminating season (won 17 of lat 21 I think). The ol’ baggie dome has been gettin a workout this week, and we’re not done yet. Makes us midwest underdogs feel like winners. Odd.

The Twins have been such heart breakers to the poor teams in the division during this last decade. Seems like there is always some highly deserving powerhouse team that is leading down the stretch. Then the Twins just start to close the gap.

It felt like the Tigers saw them coming and just wilted in the face of this annoying but inevitable Twins run.

Of course, equally heart breaking is the inevitable one-and-done playoff series…

Minnesota Twins! You heart breakers!
