Might be the last chance to see TTH in a while.

No can do….I’ll be in Sunny Florida on Tuesday evening…and then I’m not flying out for an “opening band” gig…..but….don’t count me out of the next Weekend gig as long as I don’t have anything else going on…

But believe you me….it won’t be long before I’m back in Minneapolis-town….as long as the Twilight Hours get a gig. 

I don’t think I’m going to have a large wall to hang my Across the Universe Poster which saddens me….I’m not really sure of the size of my work area, but I think it’s little more than a desk with a partial wall…and not my own cubicle which is going to be a bit small… I think there’s room for that Twilight Hours business card that came with the cd…whoo hoo….actually…..who knows….

...and since I am now an official government worker….“She’s the Man”...I have 12 paid holidays which is almost double my usual….hehehe…I love Flag Day…. except I don’t know when it is….

Well done!

I start my new job tomorrow and can’t wait! Although going to Florida for 5 days has me in a little bit of a panic…I’m coming down from the vacation fugue, trying to get things done…..

I couldn’t have made it through without you….on Monday morning I was walking along Pier 60 in Clearwater in a little bit of a cloudy misty drizzle, drinking my coffee and having just finished a nice little run…Yes came on my ipod at the exact moment that a rainbow appeared over the Gulf….I practically broke down right there….!

Work is great! My hours will be 7-3:30pm which is awesome! Except for next week when I’ll be adjusting to daylight savings time….uggh…..and after the probationary period I can switch to working (8) 9-hour days and (1) 8 hour day and every other friday off for each pay period…..which means I will have great opportunity for Minneapolis road tripping every other weekend, which would mean I could potentially do friday night gigs!

I’m going out in the field on Monday to a farm where they need a new Manure Storage Pit!!!! I think that is what I am going to be doing a lot of! Yee Haw!!!

I just interviewed for a job at a music venue and when I was asked for my favorite bands, it turned out the interviewer was also a Trip Shakespeare/Twilight Hours fan and that Matt Wilson was the first show he ever booked.

I’ve been looking for a full-time job after getting laid off almost two years ago…hopefully the TS/TH connection gives me a leg up.
