FACT: Every time the band has played Mears Park, they’ve released a new CD within 3 months.

Wow…that would be fun! Unfortunately, I don’t think I’d find enough to do in Minnesota for a month…plus, if I did that….I’d be shunned from my peeps….!

For that last comment disrespecting Minnesota, Kara, you now cannot stay with me.  What would the Toolmaster say?!

No disrespect intended….List 30 things I could do in a month in Minnesota by myself…..that would be fun….

Day 1: Itasca State Park - The headwaters of the Mississippi

Yes….that is where I would start….up near Canada….that’s a good idea, and I would like to do that…

BLERG. we’ll be in DC for a family reunion. i really like the music in mears series, too-they do a nice job. kara, here’s my suggestion for day 2: visit the big lumberjack himself, paul bunyan. there’s a lovely statue of him. it’s in a little town called brainerd, ever heard of it?

#3, eat dinner at Nokomis between Two Harbors and Duluth and then watch the sun set and the moon rise as you walk the boardwalk into Canal Park.

#4. Ride a Harley up the “North Shore” of Lake Superior, stopping at various State Parks along the way including:

4a: Betty’s Pies - 4-berry pie

Day 5 - Canal Park in Duluth. Watch ships. Watch bridge go up and down. Walk the boardwalk. Shop. Eat. Go to Park Point and make out under a blanket.

Day 6 - Early breakfast at Hell’s Kitchen in Duluth. Jay Cooke State Park in morning.  Lunch at Gordy’s Hi Hat in Cloquet.  Wave at Jeff’s high school. Drive back to Duluth. Go to Faces. Dance. Drinks at Fitgers. Sleep.

Now you’re talking! Wow…I should do it!!!
