I have to highly recommend Union Hall in Brooklyn for anyone digging a real rocking show…it’s worth any length of trip you have to make…

I second the Union Hall recommendation and nominate the Tin Angel as another fine venue. Intimate and cozy and right up by the band. A great Wednesday night outing. It’ll probably inspire you to go the extra hour and a half to Brooklyn two nights later to witness the dark, dank beauty of Union hall for a later, more sweat-inducing show. That one’s a Friday, which is excellent scheduling. Thanks for that, Twilight Hours.
I’ll buy a beer for anyone who travels more than 150 miles to either show. You gotta figure out who I am, though.

Very laid-back and cozy….warm red tones in the room…tiny stage at the short end of a long narrow townhouse building…it’s more of a listening room than a boisterous rock and roll room….people are very well-behaved…
